The logo is a sparrow, an common bird seen around Lake Harriet. It helps people connect with the locale of East Harriett without being too insider that your average viewer wouldn't understand it. We also developed a custom typeface called "Farmstead" that could be used to give the neighborhood's signage and materials a unique feel throughout.
